5. In Roman times, some people specialized in picking armpits. Around the year 1, Roman aristocrats adopted the fashion of removing all body hair. The requirements for this specialty were to have tweezers, strong hands, and the ability to endure a client’s complaint of pain.
6. 200 years Ave. BC, during the heyday of the Greek city of Sparta, each resident kept 20 slaves. Imagine how clean the rooms of the house must have been..!
